Neva was a trio from Saint Quentin [France], formed by Jacquy [vocals / bass guitar / guitar], Bob and Eric [synths] and Renée [drums] in autumn 1983. Jacquy was influenced by Virgin Prunes and Christian Death and all Neva's concerts were characterized by a sort of theatrical atmosphere. Surely one of the best bands in the independent french scene, they split up in 1990 and Jacquy Bitch started his solo career.
