GInger Snap Band Biography
The band Ginger Snap is made up of former members of the SAMMIE award-winning World Music quartet Yolo Mambo. They play original songs and jazzy pop. (See song list below) Catherine’s songs blend inspirational lyrics with world rhythms. Catherine and Phil were founding members of the World Music band !Akimbo. Phil has been performing since the 1960s and also plays with One Sharp Mind. Chris has performed with The Toons, Frankie and the Fabletones, and The Austrian Radio Choir. Don has been performing since the 1970’s and has played with According to Bazooka, Amplified DNA and many more. Their music is ideal for the intimate setting of small gatherings or dance parties.
