Israel McCray

Canaan McCray Israel,was born in Woodbine New Jersey. He moved in 2000 with his Mother and his older Sister to Browns Mills NJ. Throughout the years growing up, Canaan had ultimates desires in reading comics, history books, novels, watching movies, and also playing videogames and hanging out with neighborhood friends. School and education didn't quite mix well with Canaan, because of use with hobby related desires that he'd crave for. Canaan's Mother had somewhat influenced him to have start reading the bible and having a intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

In addition, Canaan had a close relationship with a fellow Christian Family that were close with his Mother. They partially made an impact due to the spiritually relatedness on behalf of Christianity in Canaan's life. He attended church in Wrightstown NJ with them every Sunday, had partial bible study then later on he eventually got baptized in 2005, when he was 10 years old. Throughout the years, as Canaan got older, things started to absolutely change. At one point, Canaan went down the wrong path, without Jesus in his life. At the age of 12, he started getting more into music, which started off with listening to secular Artist. Canaan would always come up with beats in his head, as he would come off the top with lyrics in his mind. This creativity started on a daily basis. Hip Hop had a rapid influence on Canaan so he began with writing Songs. In Which became a secular rapper at one point due to the inspiration and influence that other emcees brought on him.

Canaan began learning that regular hip hop wasn't his calling, so he turn away from all the secularism, especially when the Lord had his hand placed on him for many years. At the ago of 16, he than accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior as he regularly attended church every week. With the anointing through the Holy Spirit that was on Canaan, he than become a gospel rapper, writing lyrics as he was filled with the Holy Spirit. He than presented his stage name to be Israel McCray. All of the potential that was given, showed Israel that this was a God given talent that was given from Jesus.The Amplified bible and the New King James version had much more of a greater impact in Canaan's life which unfortunately effected his lyricism, his storytelling, word structure and biblical messages throughout his music. On and on, Israel was constantly developing his craft by the work of the Holy Spirit. In 2014, he released his first debut mixtape titled " Attributes, Stories & Facts".

Meanwhile, as Israel McCray got older he continued on pursuing the work of God's ministry, by means of sharing his gift that the Lord blessed him to have. Also too, inheriting in the kingdom of God according to his purpose and then later on Israel McCray was also called to be an evangelist. In the long run, that set off the sparks for Israel to preach to the lost which was another tool other than the gospel rap. Romans 8:28 says " All things work together for the good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. "
