Tisdass

Tisdass est le groupe du chanteur guitariste Moussa Kildjate Albadé. Installé à Niamey et originaire de Tchintabaraden, ville emblématique des kel tamasheq du Niger. La signification du groupe veut dire "Piliers" en langue tamasheq et fait référence aux piliers abritant les tentes traditionnelles berbères. Ce nom est le signe d'un attachement fort à une culture que TisDAss entend défendre et faire connaître par la force de la musique.

Grandissant aux sons de Tinariwen, Bob Marley ou encore Dire Strait qu’écoutait son père, l’envie de se battre avec les mots et les guitares est arrivé après un traumatisme. Alors enfant, il voit l’armée de son pays abattre une partie de sa famille, elle qui chantait pourtant la liberté d’un peuple et l’espoir de jours meilleurs pour une culture millénaire.

Il comprend que les armes n’engendrent que du malheur et à l’instar des pionniers du blues touareg, il apprend la guitare et écrit des chansons afin de rendre possible la paix et l’indépendance de son peuple.

Biography:
Tisdass is the band of singer-guitarist Moussa Kildjate Albadé. Based in Niamey and originally from Tchintabaraden, the emblematic town of the Tamasheq kel of Niger. The meaning of the group is "Pillars" in the Tamasheq language and refers to the pillars housing the traditional Berber tents. This name is the sign of a strong attachment to a culture that TisDAss intends to defend and make known through the power of music.

Growing up to the sounds of Tinariwen, Bob Marley or Dire Strait that his father listened to, the desire to fight with words and guitars came after a trauma. As a child, he saw his country's army slaughter part of his family, even though they were singing about the freedom of a people and the hope of better days for a thousand-year-old culture.

He understands that weapons only bring unhappiness and, like the pioneers of Tuareg blues, he learns the guitar and writes songs to make peace and independence possible for his people.

Amanar
Après un premier album intitulé « Yamedan »  (Sahel Sounds 2015 /Association Burkina Azza 2018) le groupe sort son deuxième album Amanar(étoile polaire) au mois de septembre 2021. Autoproduit en collaboration avec  Bolingo Art la structure qui manage le groupe depuis  2017, l’album est distribué par Inouïe distribution et édité par « Sahel sounds ».

Définitivement rock, cet album inclut des titres acoustiques  marque  du blues du désert. En tendant vers un rock assumé, TisDass trace sa route au milieu d’un style foisonnant d’artistes. La voix du chanteur et compositeur est  soutenue par les chœurs et les clappes, autres marqueur musical. L'expérience scénique du groupe donne une nouvelle énergie à cet album qui porte la colère et l'espoir des populations de l’Azawad.

L’album a été enregistré, mixé et masterisé par Antoine Livenais du studio Adjololo (Kunbe, Yelemba d’Abidjan, Mad Lenoir) lors de la tournée 2019 du groupe, il était sorti une première fois de manière confidentielle et donna une impulsion nouvelle au groupe. L’infographie est orchestrée par Nicolas Mamet (Moriarty, Winston McAnuff, La Rue Ketanou) sur une photo de Martin Demay (Rasca Prod).

Le clip Ikalananagh (Rasca Prod -Burkina Faso) pour le programme Cari, fait entendre la  question écologique présente dans cet album. Ce clip est issu d’une collaboration avec le Réseau Sahel Désertification (ReSaD) pour sensibiliser les jeunes populations à la gestion durable des terres. Le remixe de ce titre sortira courant 2021 produit par les Frères Jackfruit sur le label Marakuja records, infographie Ingrid Conan, sur une photo de Martin Demay (Rasca Prod).

After a first album entitled "Yamedan" (Sahel Sounds 2015 /Association Burkina Azza 2018) the group will release its second album Amanar (polar star) in September 2021. Self-produced in collaboration with Bolingo Art, the structure that manages the group since 2017, the album is distributed by Inouïe distribution and published by "Sahel sounds".
Definitely rock, this album includes acoustic tracks marked by desert blues. Tending towards an assumed rock style, TisDass traces its way in the midst of a style teeming with artists. The singer and songwriter's voice is supported by choirs and clappers, another musical marker. The group's stage experience gives a new energy to this album which carries the anger and hope of the people of Azawad.
The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Antoine Livenais of the Adjololo studio (Kunbe, Yelemba d'Abidjan, Mad Lenoir) during the group's 2019 tour. The computer graphics are orchestrated by Nicolas Mamet (Moriarty, Winston McAnuff, La Rue Ketanou) on a photo by Martin Demay (Rasca Prod).
The clip Ikalananagh (Rasca Prod -Burkina Faso) for the Cari programme, brings out the ecological issue present in this album. This clip is the result of a collaboration with the Réseau Sahel Désertification (ReSaD) to raise awareness among young people about sustainable land management. The remix of this track will be released in 2021, produced by the Jackfruit Brothers on the Marakuja records label, Ingrid Conan's computer graphics, with a photo by Martin Demay (Rasca Prod).
