Ezen a kora májusi estén Miskolcon, a Helynekemben csendül fel a Pink Floyd híres Live at Pompeii koncertprogramja, a rockos hangvételű programok iránt elkötelezett közönség előtt. A Keep Floydingtól megszokott hangzásvilág párosul a tematikához illő fény- és videó-effektekkel, és most is kiegészül a setlist a korszakhoz illeszkedő válogatott slágerekkel. A The Dark Side of the Moon és a The Wall rajongói is bizakodva várhatják az eseményt - idén is megrengetjük a falakat :), vegyetek jegyet és zúzzunk együtt Miskolcon!

Keep Floyding Band Biography
A „Keep Floyding” zenekar 1999-ben alakult „Echoes of Pink Floyd” néven, mint Magyarország első Pink Floyd tribute zenekara. Zenei célként a „Nagy Előd” minden korszakának hiteles megszólaltatását tűzték maguk elé. Így a zenekar koncertjein a kezdetektől fogva eredeti hangszerelésben szólalnak meg a közismert dalok és a ritkán hallott különlegességek is, a Barrett-érától a The Division Bell-ig, a szólómunkásságokat is érintve.
Első demójuk korán felhívta magára a szakma figyelmét, így 2000-ben már az After Crying társaságában léptek fel a budapesti Petőfi Csarnokban. Rövidesen a magyarországi klubélet meghatározó tribute zenekarává váltak. A következő éveket sikeres klubkoncertek és vakmerő zenei vállalkozások jellemezték, mint a „Live at Pompeii”, a „The Dark Side of the Moon”, a „Wish You Were Here”, az „Animals”, és a „The Wall” albumok „egy-az-egyben” megszólaltatása.
Különleges esemény volt a zenekar életében, hogy 2006-ban a Művészetek Palotájában önálló estet adhatott, rangos honi vendégzenészek társaságában. A teltházas koncert mai napig példaértékű vállalkozásnak számít a magyar „tribute-életben”, mint ahogy a 2009 májusában, egy épülő metróállomáson tartott jótékonysági est.
A „Keep Floyding” nevet 2009 elején vette fel a tízedik életévébe lépett együttes. A névváltás azt az újabb célt tükrözi, hogy a zenekar a hazai sikerek mellett nemzetközileg is meghatározó Pink Floyd show-vá formálódjon.

The band Keep Floyding was formed in 1999 under the name of Echoes of Pink Floyd as the first Pink Floyd tribute band in Hungary. Their goal was to recreate the sounds and feel of Pink Floyd’s music as close to the original as possible. The band plays songs in authentic way from all eras - both popular and rare tracks from the Barett era to the Divison Bell, including the solo works.
Their first Demo was a succes, so in 2000 they were asked to perform with After Crying in the Petőfi Hall, Budapest. Soon they became a significant tribute band in the Hungarian club life. In the next years they held succesful small gigs and brave musical ventures like playing whole albums on shows (Live At Pompeii, Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall).
In 2006 the band had a special event, as they had their own show in the Palace of Arts, Budapest, with several famous guests of Hungarian musicians. It was a unique event in the life of the domestic tribute bands, just like the Metro Line-4 concert in 2009 performed in a metro station still under construction.
The band took the name Keep Floyding in early 2009 after its 10th birthday. With the change of the name they would like to reach the same success abroad just like in Hungary and become a dominant Pink Floyd tribute show.
