Kenn became a fan and aware of maestro Eumir Deodato, Rick Derringer, Buddy Miles at an early in his childhood while growing up in New Jersey. He was intensely drawn especially into Deodato, Rick's , & Buddy's music because of their heartfelt vibe, groove, and intense lyrics plus memorable melodies on each song. Eventually, Kenn went on to successfully perform and book his own show band during 1982 - 1992.Touring extensively in Atlantic City , Las Vegas , Catskills & Poconos with over 2,000 shows as a Band Leader . Kenn then went on to play drums, assist with vocals, producing, writing partner with the late and greatest Mister George "Buddy" Miles * (Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana,Electric Flag,California Raisins,Buddy Miles, Express, etc., One of the greatest all around talents ever. May God be resting Buddy's immortal soul. With 7 amazing years touring around the world and learning from the best at more than 800 concerts during (1994 - 2000)
Beyond partnering with friend Eumir Deodato, Kenn worked fulltime with master of the universe Rick Derringer (Grammy winner and "Guitar Hero" performing, producing writing for Kiss , Johnny & Edgar Winter, Barbra Streisand Hall & Oats, Alice Cooper,Todd Rundgren, Weird Al Yankovic, Cyndi Lauper, Todd Rundgren, Meatloaf, Ritchie Havens, Steely Dan, Ringo Starr & too many other stars. Plus Rick has more hits than you can count. It has been Kenn's personal life mission to work closely with Mister Rick Derringer. Kenn has been commissioned to perform before 4 Presidents, dozens of Prime Ministers, and other dignitaries at the World Economic Summit in Moscow & Saint Petersburg, Russia. He has shared stages produced . performed with legends James Brown, Scorpions, Bo Diddley, Paul Simon, Elvis Costello, Earth Wind & Fire, Herbie Hancock, King Crimson, The Ramones, Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter, Phish, Billy Preston , Kansas,Willie Nelson to name a few. It has always been Kenn's work to be "aligning the stars ".
