Eli Locke Biography
Eli Locke
A California country boy with that old Dixie soul –Eli Locke slow twang conjures up the spirit of Merle and Hank with the polish and humble yet confident attitude of Strait and Jackson. Growing up in the California mountains, Eli owes as much to Sunday morning Gospel thumping as he does to the rowdy beer bars like the world famous Cowboy Palace, Farmers Market and the House of Blues, where he cut his teeth playing shows when he was only twenty one years old. Locke attracts talented musicians like a moth to a campfire - his guitarist and musical director is Jake Kelly, longtime Gary Allan bandleader/songwriter/touring guitarist. Eli's debut EP was produced by film/TV composer Dennis Mcgee Fallon (HBO, CBS, CMT and NBC), where the album's single "Tail Lights" ended up being used on Lifetime Network's "Big Women, Big Love." His latest album is being produced by Ted Russell Kamp, who is also Locke's bass player and longtime Shooter Jennings band member.
