Sam 'SAMMIELZ Leota is a sensational urban reggae artist who resides in Sydney, Australia. A spirited young man of many influences but motivated by the 3 most important things in his life: GOD, FAMILY and MUSIC. The singer of Samoan decent was born and raised in the streets of Otara, in the city of South Auckland, New Zealand. The strong sense of culture and tradition that Sammielz absorbed from his family was instrumental in his path to stay off the streets and begin a successful music career. During his school days family & friends called him "Sammie" or "Elz" using the last three letters of his name Samuel adding the "Z' to they end of it. And that's where the stage name "SAMMIELZ" came from. In the year 2008, Sammielz had started with different family bands such as "Bottle Shop" & "Standpeed" to name a few. By the end of 2008, Sammielz had performed for numerous venues: night clubs, parties, weddings, release parties and has done numerous shows to give back to the community. Moving into 2009 Sammielz formed the well known group ''Da Soul Sound'' with two other male vocalists in the western suburbs of Sydney. For the next two years the group embarked on live performances in front of big and small audiences through their successful live covers that had over a million plus views on youtube. Sammielz endeavored to keep pushing his movement through live covers and original music by using various networks and communication in order to share his music worldwide. His musical journey of highs and lows, gave inspiration to his writing and vision and in late 2010 he left Da Soul Sounds to pursue his solo career. 2011 - 2012 proved a successful year for the young solo artist since the move on. With the guidance of DJ Peter Gunz and Dox Entertainment, opportunities to perform and tour with some of Reggae's greats has now set a platform for himself to embark on his Journey as what has proven to be not only a well known Reggae Artist to many but a hardworking independent individual. Sammielz is still on the move and has release and birth some very great & feel good reggae music that has reached many around the world. His goal is to make a difference in peoples lives & keep a positive note for his people through his actions & music. I'm an independent music Artist that loves making feel good music.
