Mai Bloomfield

Mai Bloomfield is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Cello was her first instrument at 9 years old, and she was writing songs on guitar by age 15. She has received songwriting awards from the Kerrville, Telluride, and Rocky Mountain Folks Festivals. She is a founding member of folk-rock band, Raining Jane, a harmony-rich foursome that started in 1999. She collaborates with numerous artists, such as Jason Mraz, Sara Bareilles, Adam Cohen, Willy Porter, Edie Carey & Sarah Sample. She has co-written many songs with Mraz, including “Look For The Good” (2020), “Have It All” (2018), and “Love Someone” (2014). Touring has taken her from coffee shops and folk festivals to Royal Albert Hall. In 2010 Mai helped start Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls Los Angeles, a social justice non-profit dedicated to empowering girls and gender-expansive youth through music. Along with writing, recording and touring, Mai teaches songwriting, and loves to combine music with her mission to support and inspire others on their life path.
