Aber BAUM ging nach New York, sog die Energie des Big Apples auf und schrieb in zwei Wochen elf Songs. Das Ergebnis heisst «Kingdom Of The Upright Man» – und das ist Rock mit mächtigen Drums, treibenden Bässen und aufgedrehten Gitarren-Amps. Es ist die Energie eines Mannes, der gelernt hat, stolz und aufrecht für seine Ideale zu kämpfen. Und es sind Songs, in denen man nicht nur ein bisschen möchte, sondern richtig will.Der Weg des Basler Singer/Songwriters begann solo mit Vorprogramm-Tourneen für Acts wie Van Morrison und The John Butler Trio. Baum Biography
Two tours as support for Van Morrison in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, five tours in Ireland, two in Germany, appearances at the Openair St. Gallen, Gurten Festival, Stimmen Festival, Baloise Session, Summerstage Basel and about 300 concerts in Switzerland, Germany and Ireland. Two albums, two EPs, several songs in the US TV series «Take a Seat: Egypt» and corporate songs for companies including Möbel Pfister and Sherpa Outdoor - and in October 13, the single «Home One Day» was part of the soundtrack for the German movie «Verrückt nach Fixi». After the release of the EP «penpapercoffee» in Switzerland under Warner Music, the new album «Kingdom Of The Upright Man» (Muve Recordings/Musikvertrieb AG) was released on 15 September 2017. It is BAUM's reward for his daily work as a musician, creating a great opportunity to define and achieve new goals.
