Mastiv Biography
MASTIV was formed in the spring of 2008 by Steve Thiriot (Vox/Keys), with founding members Chris Whitney (Guitar/Vox) Lance Isbell (Drums), and Chris Meyer (Bass) They created a very unique style of metal, welding together elements of Hard Rock, Thrash and Metalcore. After a few line up changes, the original MASTIV disbanded due to Lance Isbell passing away in July of 2015.
November 2016 started the rebirth of MASTIV. Steve invited long time friend James Hoover (Drums) to join him on this new chapter of MASTIV adding Nikki Rangel (Bass).
After a few more line up changes, Jason Hughes (Lead Guitar) joined the band in 2019 and Joshua Gregory (Rhythm Guitar) joined in 2020.
