About this concert
Our first afternoon event\nTwo of the South's finest women singer songwriters are coming for a one-off Sunday afternoon special. You can come and see two great acts plus eat lots of cake and savouries all under one roof, plus we are licensed too! \nKitty O'Neal is a singer-songwriter from the U.K. In 2017, Kitty released two EPs, 'A Home' and 'OK', both receiving radio play on BBC Introducing and attracting venues in the South of England where she has supported household folk names Maz O'Connor and Meadowlark and more recently opening for rock band Band of Skulls. Mixing her folk influences heard in 'A Home' with a love of RnB and electronic sound in 'OK', she is releasing an album in 2018 ahead of her UK summer tour which promises to encapsulate both of these moods in a unique and ever-evolving sound. Kitty's poignant songwriting, paired with a distinct emotive performance, alongside her band makes for a captivating and vibrant live experience, filled with both soulful melancholy and groove. \n"'Make It Yours' is everything we've come to expect from Kitty O'Neal. Her ear for an irresistible pop hook allows her to build something joyful, hopeful and undeniably catchy. It's a sign of a great songwriter when we find ourselves clicking play for the fifth time in a row." - Folkroom Records\nShades of Nick Drake on the guitar and Joni Mitchell on the vocals - Daily Echo\n"Around the autobiographical grit of life she builds melodic pearls. Her silvery vocals twist their way into your subconscious so that you find her words and tunes continue to haunt you.\nLucy Kitchen has one of those real summer breeze voices, fresh and warm, and it's very much to the fore on her second album that contains a myriad of delights. And she's opened up her musical palette here with piano, steel pedal and strings all featured on a release in which she also brings in elements of Americana and lightly toasted psychedelia. But it's the quality of her songwriting that clinches the deal here, that and her emotive voice which grabs you right there. (The Crack Magazine) \nAll for £5 at the lovely Cafalatte cafe bistro in Worthing.\nCome and spend a Sunday afternoon with some beautiful music and fantastic food provided by Andy and his staff at Worthing's intimate venue for live music\nSupport live music in your area
