A private short film pre-screening, a music video premiere, and a live concert!Montreal's #BlackGirlMagic trio Strange Froots has grown in notoriety here at home, and proved themselves last year abroad in Senegal. They return to us with the long-awaited music video to their hit track "The Wanderer", directed by Marie-Michèle Cyr (EarthBound), in collaboration with Senegal's Likma Prod.The group has also widened its portfolio to scoring films; the Froots provide the soundtrack to Colonelle films latest short feature. The movie is set to hit the circuit later this year, but you will be the lucky few to see it first!The night will also be set to the all-lady musical stylings of:• Electrik Lotus (LOTUS Collective) [Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, Funk, Electro]LOTUS is an expanding collective of female & femmes artist musicians.Through knowledge and skills sharing, they support each other to improve and thrive by organizing workshops, gigs and jams.
