The Pine Drape Biography
The Pine Drape was originally founded as an acoustic project between Brad Woolard and John Christian. In 2015, other members were added to create a full band lineup. Randy, Justin, and ex-drummer Steven joined and recorded TPD's first studio album in 2017 at Kirkbride Recordings in Cape Coral, FL.
The Pine Drape showcases some of the heaviest, slowest, and most brutal music you will hear in Gainesville.
This project aims to make you question your understanding of the sub-genre's of metal that are incorporated into every song. Each member comes from a different background within the metal scene which helps create the unique characteristics of the Melodic Death Tempo genre.
