She plays guitar, ukulele, and cello to name a few. As a guitarist, her playing explodes with energy and vintage rhythms. She has performed at venues around the United States and internationally, including The Great American Music Hall, the Freight and Salvage, and Jazz at Pearl’s, as well as at the West Coast Ragtime Festival and the Blind Boone Ragtime and Early Jazz Festival. She has the voice of a ragtime swamp-angel and her crooning will make you swoon into the days when things were just... simpler.More here: http://meredithaxelrod.com/An acoustic style-band with indie, jazz, and pop influences, IVORY ARROWS is a San Francisco group created by students from the University of San Francisco. Lead guitarist Ed Fu and lead singer Nina Ragonese met as freshmen in a Macroeconomics class and began playing open mics on campus. Almost a year later they joined forces with bassist Brett and got their start as a band playing for various on-campus events. They couldn't be more grateful that USF brought them together and gave them such wonderful opportunities. James the Giant Biography

James The Giant is the fresh project of San Francisco singer-songwriter James Brennan. The music of James The Giant is both honest and direct. Dependent upon James’s rich vocal talent, knacky storytelling ability, & deliciously innovative guitar melodies for its composition, the music is left clean of the usual studio gimmicks and sets itself apart from the herd, leaving the listener to be enveloped in an authentic human experience. As The Bay Bridged writes, “James The Giant… (is) fearless in giving his music the strength of basic, raw folk. The self-titled debut EP, released in July of 2013, was launched with exclusive premieres in both the Huffington Post and USA Today, and was endorsed with glowing acclaim. The warm reception to the EP brought new fans to James’s music, which was supported with The Giant Footprint Tour around the United States from September through November, and included a cold but exhilarating show in Iceland during the 2013 Iceland Airwaves Music Festival. Now back from tour, James The Giant is filled up with more love and more stories, and has been hard at work writing and rehearsing, getting ready to share more material with his fans. With a full calendar of shows for May, June & July, James is slated to be recording a full-length album this August, and will be backing his material with shows around the Bay Area through the Winter. James the Giant loves an attentive, engaged audience, and may perform as a solo act or with a band. Having just had a resounding success at a private house concert series, James is currently accepting varied bookings for the rest of 2014. To book a show, please email booking@james-the-giant.com or text or call his booking agent, Larkin Small, at 510.421.1952. A craftsman of stripped down, raw, emotionally honest songs. http://www.james-the-giant.com/
