Ethereal Delusions Biography

Ethereal Delusions is the work of Jon Thomson. Jon is a musician, visual artist and mastering engineer. A lifelong passion for music has translated into the neon soaked sounds of today. Based in Corvallis, OR, USA, Jon has trained extensively under the direction of Dr. Dana Reason and improv jazz guitarist extraordinaire Michael Gamble. Jon works to combine his affection for 80s music and sci-fi with his love of modern hip hop, progressive rock and electronic music.

"From start to finish, Shutter Shades feels like a sun-soaked road trip that went wrong somewhere along the way, and it’s one hell of a ride. "- Echosynthetic

"conjures up images of them both riding along the beach in a suped-up sports car, like a rather infamous crime fighting buddy cop duo from the 1980’s, with the sun setting and giving way to the neon soaked night as they cruise for danger"- Watermelon Banzai
