Moped Lœwen

Moped Loewen is a progressive rock band that started as a jazz quartet. After recording our first – and only – jazz album (Cropolhubra, 2014 – still under the naive name The LAB), every next concert and rehearsal was less and less jazzy. We were heading towards our roots, the sound of classic British rock. In the summer 2016 we composed and recorded our second album – Not Yet Visible. Extremely eclectic piece of music which allowed us to experiment with ALL the influences we had. That helped us set the future direction. The next step and a milestone in the process of shaping our band sound was incorporating a Hammond organ. We could say, the not yet visible has come. And it is what we represent now. With jazz in our hearts, rock in our ears and eyes sticked to a Leslie speaker, we are finally ready to sit on the mopeds and confidently ride into your ears.
