The Symbols Biography
The Symbols are a female fronted blues/rock/funk trio from Fort Collins, CO. Their style has been coined "Spiritual Porn Rock" by Scene Magazine - "Music that is good for the soul and body."
The Symbols play a mix of their own original bluesy/rock songs and some twisted blues/funk/rock covers. In addition to a busy regional schedule, The Symbols play festivals and venues around the surrounding states. There is no limit to how far they'll travel, or how unusual a gig!
The Symbols are:
Mer Sal- vocals, bass guitar
Jasco - guitar
Don Stahl - drums
The Symbols are the Denver Mile High Blues Society's band-nominee being sent to Memphis for the International Blues Challenge in January of 2018.
The Symbols' first full-length album, SMILE, produced by Phil Brown (Little Feat, Pat Benitar, Ace Freheley, Bonnie Tyler), is receiving raving regional press in the Rocky Mountains.
Another album, "Symbolized" came out this year and is only available to live fans - fans who attend the show and buy it in person.
