A Day As Wolves

Based out of Calgary Alberta, A Day As Wolves is about in your face hard hitting blues/indie rock. Keep Your ears and eyes peeled for the bands debut EP......CHEERS A Day As Wolves is the Blues Rock brainchild of Andrew and Kyle Eskesen. What started as a writing project of the brothers to pass time in the seemingly dull and snow wrenched Calgary winters, eventually evolved to something much greater. After just a few months the guys had enough material to put something serious together. With the additions of Cameron Dawes on Guitar and new comer Dustin Hestin on drums, it allowed the band to explore more genres such as Psychedelic, Southern Rock, Soul and folk just to name a few. This grand mixture of musical styles leads to their token fuzzed out, twangy sound. Inspirations and idols are endless but include artists such as Cream, James Brown, The Allman Brothers, CCR, John Lee Hooker, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin. Their self-produced EP gave the guys some much needed recognition with sales in North America and Europe, Features in over 10 blogs and shows played throughout Western Canada. All these gradual achievements ultimately lead to them ending up in the hands of award winning producer Kirill Telichev (The Dudes, Go For The Eyes, Highkicks, Million Dollar Fix ext.) There much anticipated LP Move To Be Free is set for release early summer 2014, as well as a hefty tour through BC and Alberta. All these great events in their short career have only left the guys craving more and the need to bring “The Fuzz world and beyond!
