Hudson's Crew Biography
Formed in the wake of legendary music stemming from the nearby village of Woodstock, the Saugerties, NY based indi-alternative-rock band, Hudson's Crew, are drawing attention in a region steeped in musical greatness.
This fresh, clean and polished power group (Matt Hogan, Paddy Defino, Matt McLaren and Uncle Bob Baker) have created a catalog of original music encompassing different genres; bridging rock, folk rock and heavy blues with modern alternative qualities. Their sound is heavily influenced by popular artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys and Alabama Shakes, while maintaining their own unique style. This distinctive sound radiates throughout their September 2015 released full length debut album, 'Spacebound'.
They continue to gain recognition in the Hudson Valley, and beyond, as evidenced by continued radio airplay on WDST Radio Woodstock, magazine articles, on-air interviews with Hudson Valley radio stations and playing at venues such as The Chance Theater (Poughkeepsie, NY), the Rosendale Street Festival, Harborfest (Oswego, NY), Clarkson University, the New York City Marathon and the legendary Bearsville Theater (Woodstock, NY). They’re also the only non-Vermont based band invited to play at the NoTown Festival in Stockbridge, VT summer 2017.
