Kriptyde Biography
Kriptyde was created in 2015 by the two guitarists Xavier and Axel and joined later by Adrien on drums and Gabrielle on vocals. Kriptyde began as a Thrash Metal band.
After 3 and half years of existence and doing some shows around the region of Paris, the band decided to give up their Thrash Metal roots to evolve as their influences and desires did to a more Progressive Death Metal.
Their compositions are inspired by Death Metal bands like Fractal Universe, Beyond Creation, Death, or even Voivod, Cattle Decapitation for their subjects and Tool for the progressive part. Their songs combine more eclectic influences as well like Black Metal, Hardcore and other musical genres further apart from Metal, with clean and saturated vocals.
Kriptyde released a single named Earth Attack in 2019 to illustrate this new start.
