Mik Artistik's Ego Trip Biography

" Song of the Decade" Iggy Pop nominated "sweet Leaf Of The North " as his favourite song of the decade. Mik Artistik is a poet, performer, artist and comedian . With his compadre Jonny Flockton on guitars and and a selection of well heeled bass players , they travel from city to city, frightening and delighting adults and children with their special brand of joyous madness.
Iggy Pop played two of their tunes on his radio show on 6Music and called “Plastic Fox” a “stone old classic”.

Gideon Coe on 6music calls them “The best live act I’ve seen all summer”.

Martin Parr calls them “My favourite band on the planet”.

They’ve played Glastonbury for the last twelve years, were featured on BBC i player highlights, supported Faust, Chas and Dave , played the London Fashion Show, and Batley Rugby Club , and are loved by all/some.
