Tove Styrke Biography
Swedish pop star Tove Styrke is now working hard in the studio preparing for releasing her first new original music in a few years during first part of ‘21.
In ‘17, Tove Styrke released singles "Say My Name" and "Mistakes". Fans, media and other artists showed appreciation. Rolling Stone Magazine announced "Say My Name" to # 11 on the list of "Best Songs of 2017" and Shawn Mendes declared "Mistakes" to his favorite song in an interview. Others who expressed love for Tove and her new music include Lorde, Sam Smith, Clean Bandit, Chainsmokers and many more. End of 2017 Tove released a cover on Lorde’s track "Liability". Styrke released her third critically acclaimed album “Sway” and was widely acclaimed by Pitchfork, FADER, NME, Rolling Stone Magazine, GQ and more. It ended up in many Albums of the year lists. After joining Lorde on her winter 2018 US arena tour, Styrke followed up with joining Katy Perry on her European spring tour. During fall same year Tove did her own headline tours all of North America, Europe and Scandinavia.
Styrke did her musical debut at age 18, with a self-titled album. With the arrival of follow up album ”Kiddo” (with singles like ”Borderline” and ”Ego”) in ‘15, Styrke saw the album named a “feminist pop triumph” in the pages of Time Magazine. Tove also toured the UK with Years & Years.
