About this concert
Am 28.6.2018 feiern die beiden Bands VIC / Visions in Clouds (Luzern) und EAWY / earnest and without you (Berlin) mit einer Konzertnacht ihr Wiedersehen im Rosis. Die junge vierherzige Band VIC produzierte 2016 ihr Debut Album im Studio von EAWY. Sehr rasch entstand eine innige Beziehung zwischen beiden Formationen, nicht zuletzt aufgrund der gemeinsamen Leidenschaft für explosive, synthetische Sounds, nachdenklich stimmende Lyrics und verträumte Gitarrenriffs. Es folgte 2017 ein Konzert von EAWY in Luzern. Der Wunsch nach Kooperation, gegenseitiger Inspiration und Unterstützung wurde dort gestärkt. Im Juni werden beide Bands sich endlich gemeinsam die Bühne teilen. Wer diesen einmaligen Abend miterleben will und sich lieber von original 70er Jahre Stringsounds in kontrastreiche Soundlanschaften im Stil des New Wave Post-Punk entführen zu lassen, statt Fußball auf Großleinwänden zu glotzen, sei allerherzlichst eingeladen.

EAWY stands for earnest and without you, a duo from Berlin that is intrigued by the unspeakable and the idea to uncover blank spaces to make them audible. EAWY also stands for an epic sound that is difuse, lush and melodic at the same time. Paired with powerful acoustic drum beats EAWY create an urban reality or an imagined one in which the colours are intensifed - a room to inhabit where the colourful chaos of urban existence bleeds seemlessly into blank windows of time and space.
