Cap's McCombs and Stoned On The Nile along with TangentPoint Media Group Are proud to present. 3 bands, 1 Night Of Music Covering 3 generations of Original Rock born and bred right here in Indy. 3 very special guest of honor will be recognized for their over the top support of ORIGINAL LIVE MUSIC. Bands from all over The Nation Benefited from the work Michael White, (Our 1st Guest of Honor and Master of Ceremonies for the evening) put in to give unsigned and signed bands a place to play music, Jovi Tennant, our 2nd Guest Of Honor is the ULTIMATE Support Team member any band can have and will be honored for her various contributions to Local, Regional and National Acts including the support all 3 bands performing this night have received from her, The Previous 2 along with our 3rd and very Special Guest of Honor Mr. Billy Gibson, On Air Original X-103 Radio Personality, Backstage Bad Boy and long time very dear friend of Cap's McCombs (Guitarist-Gunmetal Blue, Stoned On the Nile and DST) Billy cannot remember much but somehow, a lucky few who Billy knows right away from sight should understand why he more than deserves this honor, He just can't remember things so well but he sure knows his Rockers. These 3 head up the night's tribute to ALL FORMER Backstage and Bentley's Live Employees. What better way to kick it all off, Throw in the 1st Indy appearance of former MA KELLEY members Terry Potts and Cozy Johnson's newest musical venture "VOODOO ACRES" who will hit the stage right around 8 P.M. to bring you 60 minutes Of their Special Brand of Backwoods Bayou, Voodoo Magic Go check them out on You Tube @Voodoo Acres Band, Right after your put in a Voodoo Trance Bring on those Bad Boy Rockers. Stalking The Streets of Indy and the Midwest since The late 80's and bringing just as strong, if not more confident today then the days gone by. Then we come to the honors part of our evening. Cap's McCombs will be doing a presentation to show his appreciation for our 3 Guest of Honor. Then we Turn the Place Green as Stoned On The Nile, The band fronted By Younger Nephew Nate McCombs, and the McCombs Brothers / Uncles Tag Team on Guitars to fire up The Stage, Light The Place Up and The Family comes together to deliver Brand New Music Mixed In with The older Tunes many have come to love, Through The Smoke, Wicked Winds and the Beloved Title Track from the 1st Release "GOD, DAMN THE MAN" at one of the many shows this band has been so blessed to be a part of. Join us At Stables Banquet Barn on Saturday April 20, 2019 when these 3 bands come together to present "United We Stand, In Rock We Trust Tour 2019"

STONED ON THE NILE - biography
In October 2009, on a construction job site, guitarist Chris "CAPS" McCombs (BLACK HEART, GUNMETAL BLUE, STONED ON THE NILE, UNDERCOVER ALLSTARS ) & bassist DLG traded ideas of a vision they had for their music. Inspired by the owner of the company they were doing a project for. The decision was made, CAPS time to return to writing and performing was long overdue and he and DLG would take charge of the new found inspiration to build this band little did we know how awesome it was to become. Soon after serious talks began, they enlisted the services of older brother and lead guitarist Greg McCombs to form the core of what would become Stoned on the Nile. First they needed to create the right atmosphere in which to allow creativity to flow , so they built a recording studio that became Tangent Point Studios. Upon completion of the studio in mid April, 2010, the band could begin the writing and recording process. They captured 18 year old Eric McCombs ( son of Chris, imagine that ) as the drummer. With very limited experience, and the pace quickening, Eric soon found his rhythm and was able to lay down tracks for the first six songs on the album. Unfortunately the time had come for Eric to leave for college, so once again time to fill a void. Things were really looking up, as the long standing vocalist dilemma was about to fade away. Nate McCombs ( son of DLG & vocalist for the band “ BEFORE I FALL “ ) wanted to come into the studio and put down some vocal tracks to the new songs. After hearing the result, everyone involved agreed including Nate, that he should join the band. Soon after that, the final piece of the puzzle came together when drummer Eric Piper ( original drummer of BEFORE I FALL ) reunited with Nate and solidified the Stoned on the Nile lineup.
The band will release the first single “ Through the Smoke “ on October 31st , with the entire 12 song disc set to release on New Years Eve 2010.
The bands base of operation is located on the southwest side of Indianapolis, Indiana but they are fired up and ready to hit the road. With a song list of tracks that deal with their own personal life experiences as well as topics that cover social, political, and economic
Issues that we all are affected by on a daily basis.
Stoned On The Nile has a solid reputation for High Energy Rock performances that has put them on many stages opening for National Acts as well as the clout to headline many special events and shows organised by TangentPoint Media Group.
