There was a time when The Low Anthem were (for me) one of the best bands in the world. There are few acts that achieve such a strong bond with their audience. Their last two albums have been less appealing than some of their earlier work, but they are to be applauded for not standing still, for experimenting and evolving their music and sound - not fossilising it. An evening with The Low Anthem is never an evening wasted.

The Low Anthem is a band from Providence, in the Ocean State of Rhode Island, USA, formed in 2006 by best friends, Ben Knox Miller and Jeff Prystowsky. The current lineup also includes Florence Grace Wallis and Bryan Minto.
