Monty Warren will take to The Spilt Beer Stage at the West Palm Brewery & Wine Vault to kick off the opening of the venue's Summer Singer Songwriter Music Series. "Monty Warren is an amazing singer songwriter with an accomplished body of original work," said the brewery's owner, John Pankauski. "South Florida has some talented singer songwriters with original lyrics and music, and Palm Beach County loves craft beer, premium wine, art, and live performances and great music!" You'll hear songs off the Monty Warren & The Friggin' Whatevers three albums, and a few off his upcoming album with international rocker, Phil Wolff ("Two Badasses"). David Gruitza, frontman for Fern Street, will also be rocking the afternoon's music celebration with his original tunes. "When you hear David's music, you'll hear Truth," said Pankauski. The Brewery opens at 12:00 noon. Get there early for best seating. Sit at The Long Bar, The Vault, or outside in the shade. Monty Warren & The Friggin' Whatevers Music Biography
In the '70s, Monty Warren made a tough choice. He put his rock 'n' roll dreams on hold to build a successful career in law in order to support his mother for 20 years. When his mother passed away, the singer/songwriter/musician played a demo for Terry Anderson & The Olympic Ass-Kickin' Team (I Love You Period) in 2007, and they insisted upon helping him make a record. The Anderson crew was the first round of "Whatevers"—followed by seasoned roots rockers who appear on the group's three albums and often appear on stage in the Palm Beach area. The first CD, Trailer Park Angel, was born in Raleigh, NC.
