Mama Joy Rising

We started the Opulent 'Possum Concert Series in 2007 in Columbia, SC, hosting a number of singer-songwriters whose music we had been introduced to and whose music we still listen to and whose careers we still follow. Many of these artists joined us multiple times over a 4 1/2-year span during the Columbia version of the Series.We welcomed two of those artists in November 2016 when we hosted our first house concert since we put the series on hold in 2012. Far Flung Farm is our new concert site and where we built a new home on land we purchased in Western NC. From the home in SC, we were inspired to build our new home to host the Opulent 'Possum House Concert Series once again. Now, we've just added the mountains surrounding our farm to the mix and look forward to what comes next.
