With songs in Arabic & English, Kuwaisiana is a Seattle-based rock trio with extensions into music communities across the US & Middle East 🇰🇼🇺🇸
Guided by +Aziz's Kuwaiti-American identity, the band draws inspiration from 90’s rock, punk/ska and funk to provide raw articulations of Arab angst and the bliss of standing united in the brutality of our world.
The band started as an 8-piece in New Orleans (2016) making 3 releases (19 tracks). Kuwaisiana re-formed as a 3-piece in Seattle (2022) and plan to release an EP titled Mishriff in 2023.
