FREE Admission Date: 5th April 2019 (Fri) Time: 8PM onwards Acts: JAED, Margosa, Jiwang, mutesite The 9th annual arts and cultural festival MAP Fest 2019 will showcase more than 1,000 artists and performers in 50 events over a period of 3 weekends throughout Publika Shopping Gallery from March 30 to April 14. MAP Fest is an annual community event of arts and culture showcase and exhibition, with a variety of unique activities and acts lined up for arts aficionados, youths and families to enjoy and participate in throughout the festival. The main aim of the festival is to develop community and to build an appreciation amongst the public to various forms and levels of the performing arts. The festival showcases international award-winning acts from Malaysia & other countries as well as exceptional local theatre productions, dance, music, busking by lyrical poets, singer songwriters, bands, cultural performances, arts installations and workshops.

"In the absence of words, let music be your guide to feel."

mutesite is an instrumental rock band that tells stories through lyricless tunes. The band’s captivating songs drive listeners on a journey of complex emotions, allowing every individual to paint unique tales with their versatile sounds - both live and on record.

Their debut EP, "re:start" was released on 16.01.2016. Shortly after garnering both local and international attention, "re:start" is now sold in the US via Chautauqua Records, and in Japan nationwide via Parabolica Records.

They have been featured in popular web platforms such as The Wknd Sessions, Sofar KL, Big A Jamz and RedBull Music. Some of the notable festivals they have played include Good Vibes Festival, DongTaiDu Music Festival, Sime Darby Art Festival, HoHaiYan Rock Music Festival [TW] and Rocking The Region [SG].
