Markus Krunegård

Markus Krunegård is a swedish singer/songwriter who plays a mixture of Radiohead-inspired rock with influences from both MGMT and Bob Dylan. He is famous for also being the leadsinger for the indierock group Laakso, but through his solo-effort Markusevangeliet (The Gospel of Markus) he gained great popularity in Sweden, especially through his hit Jag är en vampyr (I am a vampire).

In the summer of 2008, Markus Krunegård made an historical effort, for attending at the Hultsfred Festival three times; with Laakso, with the swedish supergroup Hets, and solo.

Krunegård has won a great amount of awards in Sweden, and is now concidered to be one of Swedens finest musical acts.
