Boogie Mammoth

Denver’s seven-piece pachyderm Boogie Mammoth stirs together a cool concoction of funk, disco and soul to create one hell of a party. Combining the sounds of smooth horns and funk fundamentals with powerhouse female vocals, the dance floor doesn’t quit when this animal is in the building.

The band of musical neanderthals consists of Rachel Rand Hollingsworth on the microphone, Mike Givens on keys, Ben Myers on trumpet, Zach Catarelli on trombone, Mertz on guitar, Dan Orso on bass and Benedikt Hammer on drums.

Since forming in 2016, Boogie Mammoth has had the pleasure of sharing the bill with groove doctors from acts such as: The Motet, Snarky Puppy, Trey Anastasio Band, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Moon Taxi, Big Gigantic, Analog Son, Emancipator, Con Brio, Nth Power, Thievery Corporation, Brothers Past, and more.
