About this concert
A new improvising trio that should have happened much earlier! \nRachel Musson and Olie Brice have a long-standing duo (and have recently released the album 'Tapered Arms Point into the Wind'), Mark Sanders is featured on Rachel's album 'Tatterdemalion', and Mark and Olie have worked together in trios and quartets with such improv legends as Tobias Delius, Paul Dunmall, Evan Parker, Ken Vandermark and Mikolaj Trzaska.\nSo when Olie was approached by the South Coast Jazz Festival in 2017 he proposed this combination, which went so well that he immediately started looking for more opportunities for the group. \nThis gig will be their third outing!\nOlie Brice: double bass\nRachel Musson: saxophone\nMark Sanders: drums\nwww.listencambridge.com\nhttps://oliebrice.com\nwww.rachelmusson.com\nhttps://www.marksanders.me.uk
