Mindframe

MINDFRAME started in March of 1983 in a garage in the Auburn Park Neighborhood of Waynesville, NC. The classic lineup consisted of Tommy Potts – Lead Vocals, Mark and David Pinkston - Guitar, John Truitt - Bass, and Rick Boyd - Drums. Over the years, the lineup has had some changes, but starting in 2005, four members of the original lineup continued what they initially started. In 2014, they added a fifth member, Joe Pinkston, on guitar to continue into the future. In 2025, Mindframe enters their 5th decade and starts their 42nd year of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Over the years, Mindframe has opened for national artists such as The Atlanta Rhythm Section, Night Ranger, and Survivor. They have rocked every dive and smoky bar in several states as well as playing several nationally renowned music venues and arenas. In 1995, they released original music on Black Rabbit Records and they are currently signed as the first artist with Purple Ridge Studio in Canton, NC. They currently are recording a new album which they plan on releasing late in mid 2025. Mindframe specializes in playing a mixture of classic hard rock covers and originals with rock n roll that is delivered in your face through a blue-collar style.
