Lex Land Biography
Lex Land isn’t originally from Austin, but she got there as fast as she could. After paying dues in the music-industry-badlands of Los Angeles, the California native relocated to Texas to find the home she'd always longed for. Her two full-length albums, “Orange Days on Lemon Street” (2008) and “Were My Sweetheart to Go…” (2011) showcase the classically trained singer’s vocal versatility and songwriting prowess.
Lex represented Austin, TX on Season 2 of NBC’s The Voice – she chose Blake Shelton as her coach after Adam, Ceelo, and Shelton all gave their approval. Her songs have been featured on several TV shows, such as “Private Practice,” “One Tree Hill,” “Damages,” and “Bones.”
