The Farewells Biography
The Farewells are Peter and Sam Linnane, an acoustic duo in Boxborough, MA formed in 2001. They write songs that invoke the spirit of the forests and open spaces of their home, intertwined with heartache and the happy/sad poetry of life. Elements of old-time country, folk, Americana and rock form the backbone of strong melodies drenched with rich harmonic vocals. The Farewells paint pictures of bright summers with a dark underbelly.
