Rob Bochnik Biography
Rob's first entered the music fray while in college playing in a band called Garden Bower with Frank Tribes and Dave Christensen. While in college, Rob also played in a group called The Butchershop Quartet with Dylan Posa, Rob Sullivan and Dan Sullivan. They took the "Rite of Spring" by Igor Stravinsky and arranged it, in its entirety, for rock band: two guitars, bass and drums.
While all this was happening, Rob had the pleasure and honour to work at Electrical Audio in Chicago, a truly amazing and unique recording studio, and the best in the world in Rob's opinion. Rob helped construct and maintain the studios and had the privilege of recording some amazing bands as well as meeting some amazing musicians and friends.
After working there for about 8 years, Rob was asked to join The Frames, which he met during recording of the band's 'For The Birds' album. The Frames have recently released "The Cost" worldwide and Rob has been touring with the band both in America and Europe.
In the meantime Rob has finished a record of his own songs, songs that have been kicking around for a while. He doesn't have any solo career aspirations at the moment but wanted to put the songs out there.
