The Mod Club in the North of England, some would say The Mod Club in Britain. The Club The Small Faces called home. In those 3 short years every one that was anyone played there...Little Stevie Wonder, Ike and Tina Turner, Billy Stewart, The Who, The Birds, Howlin' Wolf, Inez and Charlie Foxx, The Alan Bown Set, Georgie Fame and The Blue Flames, Garnet Mimms, Rufus Thomas, Jimi Hendrix, Wison Pickett........and the records played.....all the hip British releases of the time obviously, and Pete had a contact making sure all the best US soul and R'n'B releases went straight to the club to be heard in Sheffield as soon if not sooner than anywhere else. So for one night only, the people that were there, saw the acts, heard the records, collected the records and those that followed in their footsteps.......bring to you one more time The King Mojo - The King of Clubs.
