Neil Morrison Biography
Dundee based 5 piece Psychedelic Rock ‘n’ Roll outfit taking inspiration from the likes of Bob Dylan, Courtney Barnett, Mac DeMarco, The Seeds and The Velvet Underground.
Before forming in November 2017, Neil Morrison started as a solo act in early 2015. After releasing an EP and four singles, along side constant gigging including sharing the stage with The Libertines, Trampolene and Big Country. Neil then went on to be joined by fellow musicians Matt Kermally (Guitar), George MacKenzie (Bass), Fabio Whyte (Keys) and Ben Carswell (Drums), creating the Neil Morrison Band.
Since the beginning of 2018, Neil and the band have been playing live constantly including grabbing slots with the likes of Vida, Sheafs and Matt Hollywood & The Bad Feelings (Ex Brian Jonestown Massacre). With the recent release of their new single ‘I Get Low… Sometimes’ and their latest EP ‘The Kids Aren’t Alright’ released August 20th, the Neil Morrison Band show no sign of slowing down.
