Eri Yamamoto 山本絵理

Born in Tokyo, Japan, Eri Yamamoto is one of the most exuberant pianists performing today. Established in Europe, her unique and first-rate musical background and style has been described as outstanding.

Moving to Budapest, at 16, as an Rotary Youth Exchange Program student, she then embarked on her BA as a student of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, in Piano. Continuing on with her studies, she successfully was awarded her MA with the highest honors, as a Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship receiving student, organized by the Hungarian government, under the guidance of Nádor György, Orsolya Szabó. She is now furthering her skills at the Royal Academy of Music, London, under the guidance of Rustem Havroudinoff. Attending classes and master classes by numerous prominent and prestigious pianists such as Pavel Giliov and Cyprien Katsaris has also enhanced her education.

Eri Yamamoto has won numerous prizes and awards for her outstanding piano performances, including being placed first in the Citta di Barletta’ recital concert prize Italy, first in the 18th Euterpe International Music Competition in Corato, Italy and first in the Grande Prize Virtuoso International in Salzburg, Austria. She was also honored to play at the gala concert at the Wiener Saal Mozarteum and received several other prizes and awards throughout Europe and Asia.

Described as an artist who performs as a solo pianist, accompanist as well as a chamber musician, Eri has proved she is a very skilled and diverse pianist. Performing as a solo pianist, she worked with the Szolnok Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by Masahiro Izaki, directed by Akira Senju, and with the Anima Musicae Chamber Music Orchestra. Having recitals throughout Europe and Japan, Eri successfully performed at the Chopin Birthday Festival, the Citta di Barletta, and the Stipendium Hungaricum Ceremony in front of the Hungarian prime Minister, also in Kioicho salon hall, to name just a few. Concert engagements have not been limited to solo performances, and Eri enjoys a successful career as a chamber musician and accompanist, recently accompanying Richard Stolzman, clarinet.


1993年東京生まれ。成蹊高等学校在学中、１６歳で、Rotary青少年交換留学生としてハンガリー、ブダペストへ渡る。2012年ハンガリー国立リスト音楽院学士課程クラシックピアノ科に入学。2015年卒業、クラシックピアノ演奏家のディプロマを取得。その後、ハンガリー政府Stipendium Hungaricum奨学生として、ハンガリー国立リスト音楽院修士課程クラシックピアノ科に入学、2017年に首席で卒業。現在、英国王立音楽院プロフェッショナル・ディプロマコースにて研鑽する。

　第25回Citta di Barletta 国際ピアノコンクール（イタリア）、アブソルート１位優勝、2016年、優勝者として、イタリア、バルレッタにてソロリサイタル演奏。第18回EUTERPE国際ピアノコンクール（イタリア）第１位。優勝者ガラコンサートで演奏。Grand Prize Virtuoso国際音楽コンクール(ザルツブルク)第１位。ザルツブルク、モーツァルテウム Wiener Saalで行われた受賞者ガラコンサートにて演奏。国内外の国際コンクールにて数多く入賞。

　 2015年ハンガリー政府Stipendium Hungaricum奨学金式典にて、ハンガリー大統領Orban Viktor (オルバン ビクトル)、ハンガリー教育省、数カ国の大使の前で演奏。2016年2月ショパンバースデーフェスティバル（ワルシャワ,ポーランド）、ショパンリサイタルにて演奏。Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestraと共演。ハンガリー、イギリス、イタリア、ポーランドなど、ヨーロッパにて演奏活動を行う。2016年Suite Sweets Concertにて、日本デビュー。ソロとクラリネット奏者Richard Stolzmanとのデュオを演奏。また、Hidemi Suginoとお菓子のコラボレーションもした。2016年紀尾井町サロンホールにてジョイントコンサートに出演、演奏。

　これまでにハンガリーにてNádor György (ナードル・ジョルジ), Kiss Gyula (キシュ・ギュラ), Orsolya Szabó (オルショヤ・サボー), Gráf Zsuzsanna(グラーフ・ジュジャンナ) に師事。日本にて、三枝成彰氏、干野宜大氏に師事。Cyprien Katsaris(シプリアン・カツァリス), Pavel Gililov(パヴェル・ギリロフ), Christopher Elton(クリストファー・エルトン), Irina Osipova(イリーナ・オシポーヴァ)のマスタークラスを受講する。
