Mungo Jerry

A long run of smashes across the globe – among them ‘In the Summertime’, ‘Baby Jump’, ‘Lady Rose’ and 1993's 'All I Wanna Do' – have assured Ray Dorset aka Mungo Jerry a place-card on the top table of pop’s Valhalla. Into the bargain, Mungo Ray has penned hits for many other artists, most conspicuously Kelly Marie via a 1980 chart –topper with ‘Feels Like I’m in Love’. Moreover, while contemporaries boarded the nostalgia bandwagon, Ray continues to sustain interest with his concert and festival appearances as demonstrated most recently in the Mungo Jerry movie Twenty-Four Days which documents a sell-out 2016 tour – and is now available on a two-DVD box-set (which also contains the acclaimed 100% Live album).
