The compositions are very original and contemporarily arranged; artistic cleverness is in the forefront of this sonic revolt, unleashed in 2007 with the quartet's debut-EP "Declaration" and eventually finalized with the album "The State Of Anger" in 2009. The central focus is on directed on the typical crossover-attitude: Riffs weighing tons, stinging hardcore-habitus and "rap 'n' shout"-vocals united to a lump of anger first order, to once and for all get rid of social ideals. Thus they lay it on the line in sociocritical lyrics, which mirror their down-to-earth way of looking at things. With this extravagant combination of musical styles SYN made it to stand out against the bulk of the Austrian underground scene. A new EP is being recorded at the moment, so be prepared for new music from SYN in 2014! Individuelle Kompositionen, modern arrangierte Song- Strukturen und künstlerische Raffinesse stehen in der ersten Reihe jener akustischen Revolte-Bewegung, die das Quartett bereits im Jahr 2007 mit seiner imposanten Debüt-EP „Declaration” losgetreten und schließlich mit dem Album „The State Of Anger” zum Überkochen gebracht hat. Der Focus liegt explizit auf der SYNergie- Wirkung des sogenannten Crossover: Tonnenschwere Metal-Riffs, beißender Hardcore-Habitus und kreative „Rap ‘n‘ Shout”-Vocals im besten RATM-Stil vereinen sich zu einem qualitativ höchstwertigen Wutklumpen, der mit gesellschaftlichen Scheinidealen ein für alle Mal aufräumt. Dementsprechend nehmen sich die Jungs auch kein Blatt vor den Mund und geben in sozialkritischen Lyrics ihre bodenständige Sicht der Welt wieder. Mit ihrer extravaganten Multi-Kombination haben es SYN geschafft, sich aus dem Gros der Undergroundszene zu boxen und sich im hiesigen Pit Rang und Namen zu verschaffen.
