#EyesFrontNorthEYES FRONT NORTH est un groupe de Blackened Post-Metal francilien fondé en 2010 et influencé notamment par toute la scène Post-NEUROSIS. Le quatuor propose une musique sombre et pesante mixant habilement tension et puissance avec sensibilité et expérimentation. Il en résulte des morceaux uniques, très organiques, nourris aux riffs massifs et aux sombres mélodies vous invitant à un voyage introspectif dans les forêts humides des Rocheuses ou sur les terres gelées du Grand Nord. Après leur première démo autoproduite, ils récidivent avec leur 1er album , "From Shape To name", produit par Jack Shirley à San Francisco (DEAFHEAVEN) et publié sur le label Italien Argonauta Records (SUMA, NIBIRU…).#NatureMortePuisant ses influences dans les courants extrêmes (black metal, post hardcore, post rock…), ce groupe qui ne craint aucune frontière installe insidieusement au fil de ses morceaux un climat qui lui est parfaitement propre au milieu de ses influences complètement digérées. La pertinence des instrumentations atmosphériques relève magistralement les riffs et rythmiques metal pour emmener l’auditeur vers des paysages sonores vierges.#BeyondChroniclesFormé fin 2013, Beyond Chronicles est un groupe de Melodic Death Metal de région parisienne. Cette formation puissante et inspirée propose un son à la fois mélodique et lourd, alternant riffs agressifs, leads, voix gutturale et chant clair. Proposant des prestations scéniques énergiques depuis leurs débuts, Beyond Chronicles est l'un des groupes prometteurs de la scène Metal française.Leur premier EP, intitulé "Shatter" sort en février 2015. Enregistré dans les studios de Lucas d'Angelo [Betraying The Martyrs] et composé de 6 titres, il reçoit un très bon accueil de la part du public et des médias. EYES FRONT NORTH Biography
In 2010, after the dissolution of their first group AMBRYO, Lionel FOREST (voice / guitar), Nicolas SIMON (guitar) and Victor TURHAN (bass) created the group EYES FRONT NORTH.
Under this enigmatic name lies a heavy music that oscillates between post-metal, doom-core and post-rock.
At the beginning EFN is a studio project. The group only works with session drummers including
Conny Petterson of the Swedish Death-Metal group ANATA. In 2011, released a 1st Ep selfproduced
which, although very underground, receives very good reviews both abroad and France. Feeling the great potential of this project, the trio decides to continue in the same direction.
EFN is offered the same year a concert with the cult group SUPURATION. The idea of resuming a real scenic activity resurfaced.
In 2012 the group released a split vinyl with the group of progressive metal THE BLACK NOODLE PROJECT.
It is in 2013, after a long work of composition, that the group recruits Xavier DOMERGUE as official drummer.
In June 2015, EYES FRONT NORTH recorded his first long album entitled "from shape to name".
The mix and mastering are entrusted to Jack SHIRLEY of the Atomic Garden studio in San Francisco. Jack has worked especially for DEAFHEAVEN (post-black metal US) and WHIRR (Shoegaze US). His work on analog tapes brings to the sound of EFN a new dimension, that of an organic sound. The band signed on the Italian label Argonauta Records, which released its first album in April 2016.
In March 2017, following health concerns, Benjamin LECLERE replaces Xavier as drummer. EFN is the guest of honor at the Argonauta Fest in May 2017 and shares the poster with 7 groups
of the Italian label. A week later, EFN ended up at the Foud'rock with Black Bomb A and UltraVomit and Revok.
The band is actively looking for concerts in France and more widely in Europe !!.
