She will take the stage at the T’Scheier in Aspelt on Friday, 29th March 2019, starting at 20:00 with yet another breath-taking “Live Acoustic” show. Romy’s varied guitar playing styles, her wonderfully matching, warm and husky voice will make you beg for more musical chill-out, providing relief after a hard week. “T.G.I.F. !” Ready-made to savour great music, gourmet food will await you at this marvellous location that evening. Whether already acquainted with Romy or not, she will fascinate her audience with her own authentic repertoire and some astounding covers of world- famous rock and pop hits. Romy has seen many stages, small and large, as an independent rock artist with after her latest album ‘V for Victory’ was released in the USA, Germany and the Benelux. This album comprised her own creations ‘V for Victory’ and ‘Going Down’, two hits that attained 1st and 3rd respectively in Belgium’s TOP30 hit list, in autumn 2017. With a proven track record, Romy is described as a sultry rock chanteuse who has attracted radio play throughout the Benelux, Germany, the UK and the US since her first album ‘Black as Night’ was released in 2012. Last year, Romy has appeared not less than 5 times, solo and with her band, in Luxembourg, from Born via Luxembourg City to Mondorf-les-Bains. A talented songwriter, composer and singer, Romy who fluently speaks four languages and mostly sings in English (80% of her songs) and occasionally also in French keeps creating. Besides her own creations, Romy also covers well-known, carefully selected songs from various popular bands and artists, such as the Rolling Stones, R.E.M., the 4 Non Blondes, KT Tunstall, Melissa Etheridge, to name just a few. In her own songs Romy takes her audience on a colourful and emotional journey through various musical influences, ranging mainly from pop and rock to funk. Close and personal with just a guitar and microphone, she takes live guitar music in Luxembourg to a new level.
