Jazmine released her second album, the critically acclaimed Love Me Back in 2010, of which the Associated Press declared as “something amazing” and consequently garnered her an eighth Grammy® nomination for “Holding You Down (Goin’ In Circles).” The recipient of Billboard’s Rising Star Award, Jazmine released her third album Reality Show in 2015 which she executive produced and served as the primary songwriter tackling the realities of love, life, and everything in between. Mumu Fresh is a Grammy®-nominated Afro-Native Singer, Songwriter, MC, Activist, Edu-tainer, who has performed worldwide with music giants such as Common, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’s Band, The Roots, Bobby McFerrin, Sting, Erykah Badu, Femi Kuti, DJ Jazzy Jeff , Ed Sheeran, Nas, the NSO, and Dave Chappelle, among others. Maimouna reached viral attention worldwide when she performed on NPR’s Tiny Desk with the group August Greene. You may also recognize her voice from Ford’s commercial “Roll On” celebrating women of color. The songstress has six independent projects to her credit including a 2017 album entitled “Vintage Babies” produced by DJ Dummy. Beverly Bond is an artist, cultural curator, television producer, philanthropist, and author recognized for her unwavering commitment to high-art, women’s empowerment, and human rights. Beverly has blazed trails in music, entertainment and social entrepreneurship. Her passion for music and culture, has solidified her as one of the world’s premier celebrity DJs. In 2006, Bond expanded her focus beyond the turntables and founded BLACK GIRLS ROCK!™ and the annual BLACK GIRLS ROCK!™ Awards on BET to showcase empowering images of women of color and to promote positive role models for girls. The show now garners over 10 million annual viewers. In 2018, Bond released her first book BLACK GIRLS ROCK!: Owning Our Magic. Rocking Our Truth., a collection of interviews with powerhouse women including Michelle Obama, Susan Taylor, Rihanna, Solange Knowles, Angela Davis, Mary J. Blige, Yara Shahidi, and many more. Beverly Bond’s work as a businesswoman and community leader has earned her a number of prestigious recognitions including EBONY Magazine’s Power 100 list of “Most Influential Blacks In America”, two Gracie Awards, three NAACP Image Awards, and four Root 100 Awards. Bond has also been given the “Key to the City” and celebrated with her own “Beverly Bond Day” in Rochester, NY. Bond continues to expand her empire with the recent launch of BLACK GIRLS ROCK! Africa™.
