Incredible voice, perfectly matching the complicate melodies of FZ's music. One of the best voice performers I've ever heard.

Mikki Hommel Biography
It was Mikki’s older sister Kristi who encouraged her, at age 4, to “sing loud and not like a Disney character.” Now, Mikki does more than simply sing loud; her powerhouse vocals, sassy lyrics, and unexpected improv songs have grabbed audiences across the country.
Starting out, Mikki loved film, but it was the musical RENT that gave her a passion for musical theater and led her to attending the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Rehearsals tended to be filled with improvising songs for her friends, and when she returned to Florida to finish her BFA in acting FAU, she knew she wanted to return to the city and sing.
Inspired by the talents of Eric Hutchinson, Mikki has embarked on her dream to write catchy songs that merge her vivacious personality with her soulful voice. She has since opened for Eric Hutchinson as well as Dweezil Zappa, Ari Hest, AJ Smith, and Musaic. On her own, she’s played to crowds at some of New York City’s most illustrious venues including Gramercy Theater, Mercury Lounge, Rockwood Music Hall, The Studio at Webster Hall, The City Winery, The Living Room, Bowery Electric, The Bitter End, Arlene’s Grocery and Union Hall. She is also on the Neon Entertainment college roster and has toured campuses throughout the U.S. This summer she is joining Dweezil Zappa's band for their international tour, singing lead and backing vocals.
Mikki's first full length album “On The Moon” is now available on iTunes and Spotify. Produced by two-time Grammy Award winner Dave Clauss and released by Purebred Records; the album is the culmination of nearly five years of writing and two years of recording, telling stories of falling in and out of love, sometimes failing, but always following her dreams.
Mikki has become a musical fixture on New York City’s Lower East Side. Between playing month-long residencies at Pianos and simply stealing the stage for an impromptu karaoke session, she promises to take your ears to a party and leave you ready to discover your own wild heart.
