Paige Clem
Americana singer-songwriter, Paige Clem’s arrestingly direct lyrics and velvety, unaffected vocals exude that most elusive of musical qualities — Soul. With a natural gift for connecting with an audience, her roots-infused music is melodic and warm, yet packs a punch with tales of loss and love. In addition to her original music, Paige frequently lends supporting vocals to various Bay Area acts and showcases and sings with the popular Grateful Dead tribute, The Eleven, Bob Dylan/Neil Young tribute, Shakey Zimmerman, the retro/soul tribute, Paige & The Rage. She has shared the stage with members of Dead and Co., Further, Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon, ALO, Fruition, Anders Osborne, RatDog, Tea Leaf Green, New Monsoon, Moon Alice, Tracorum, Front Country, Midnight North, and Dead Winter Carpenters, and has performed with Melissa Ethridge, moe., Joe Craven, Steve Poltz, Eric McFadden, Scott Pemberton, The Brother's Comatose, Shook Twins, and many more. She has served multiple stints as songwriter-in-residence at The Bazaar Café, hosts the monthly series "Songs About Something" at The Ivy Room in Albany, and has appeared at High Sierra Music Festival, DelFest, Hangtown Halloween Ball, Cuko Rakko Music Festival, and ULUV Music Day. She will be featured in the upcoming documentary, The Creative High, and is currently recording her debut solo album slated to be released in the fall of 2016.

Laurie Lewis

“Whatever country music is supposed to be, she’s at the center of it.”
- Utah Phillips

Grammy Award-winning musician Laurie Lewis is internationally renowned as a singer, songwriter, fiddler, bandleader, producer and educator. She was a founding member of the Good Ol’ Persons and the Grant Street String Band and has performed and recorded since 1986 with her musical partner, mandolinist Tom Rozum. Laurie has twice been voted “Female Vocalist of the Year” by the International Bluegrass Music Association and has won the respect and admiration of her peers.

Linda Ronstadt speaks for many when she says of Laurie: “Her voice is a rare combination of grit and grace, strength and delicacy. Her stories are always true.” A pioneering woman in bluegrass, Laurie has paved the way for many young women today, always guided by her own love of traditional music and the styles of her heroes that came before. At the same time, she has steadfastly followed her personal muse and remained open to new influences.

Kelly McFarling
https://soundcloud.com/kellymcfarling
KELLY MCFARLING is an Atlanta, GA born, Bay Area based songwriter. Her work is reflective of transitions, the wilderness, and its navigation.

During her ten plus years in the Bay Area, McFarling has released six independent recordings: studio albums, Distractible Child (2010) and Ridgeline (2013), an EP of cover songs, Others (2013), Water Dog (2017) and two live albums, Live at Pirate Ship Laguna (2009) and Live at Eddie’s Attic (2011). She has toured behind her own projects as well as performing with bands like Y La Bamba and Goodnight Texas, and is one-third of the all-female folk trio Glittersnatch with Megan Keely and Wolf Larsen. Over the years, McFarling has shared the stage with artists such as Shovels and Rope, Sean Hayes, Chris Pureka, Jolie Holland, and has made a home for herself in the San Francisco music community

Water Dog, McFarling’s latest release, is her most intimate and folk-leaning record to date. She recorded the album in seasonal segments of 2016. The album is a reflection on inward motion; on the way that water and its movement dominates our lives and bodies. It’s about love, trust, and how we come to know the things we know. Above all, it’s about the cycles of nature that have the power to be both grounding and destructive. “While I was writing these songs, I was thinking a lot about family, stability, and love; and I was simultaneously starting to spend more time in and around the ocean. I was getting in the water a lot, and it opened a conversation about the nature of flow; learning to move with changes, instead of against them."

Katie Cash
https://katiecash.bandcamp.com/releases
The music of Katie Cash harkens to a time when rock n roll inspired revolution. In the manner of legends, she handles her guitar with an unparalleled command, embodying the music with every fiber or her being — hair flung as staccato punctuations to the heart she wears on her sleeve. She owns her vocal delivery, swinging you between high & low in an array of lustful richness and provocative rhythms.

While leading, composing, producing and performing in her solo outfit, Cash also shares lead vocal and guitar duties in Oakland based bands Year of the Fist, & Skip the Needle, gliding between punk rock and rock n soul with graceful authenticity her fans have come to love.
