Meggido

Meggido is Calgary metal group that began as a project between some friends in 2007. The following two years saw a couple of changes to the original lineup the release of 2 EP's, titled Mass Sedation and Legions of Dissent. Meggido had acquired an intensely die-hard following and played many shows in Calgary as well as throughout Alberta and in other provinces, but collectively disbanded in 2010. However, this long time apart proved only to be a hiatus, and in the summer of 2016 Meggido was back in action. Guitar player Russ Gauthier, vocalist Cam Hedley, and bass player Dan Ishak joined forces with the addition of drummer Mitch Fitz. By the end of the year Meggido was playing live again on a regular basis and recorded and released the full length album Evolution Outlawed.
