Diskobeistet

People Love Music label head, Thor Christian Maast, has steadily built a name for
himself with his producer pseudonym Diskobeistet since the 2015 debut release
Birkelunden EP on British label Paper Recordings. The release made waves globally
and the title track became an underground classic in his native country Norway.
Maast has been an active musician, producer and DJ for more than ten
years and has been involved in a variety of different projects. He´s been the band
leader and keyboardist for internationally renowned soul singer Nosizwe, he plays
keyboards for California based surf-rock act Easy Giant, and is an active DJ with gigs ranging from the local scene in Oslo to festivals around the world. This diverse experience and musical versatility gives his production a distinct personality. Diskobeistet builds on over a decade of experience and aims
to create timeless club tracks that will make people move for years to come.
