Antica

Antica (pronounced ant-ick-ah) is an alternative metal band formed in 2014. Blending multiple genres, they bring a fresh take on metal to the Baltimore music scene. The band’s lineup consists of lead vocalist Sarah Wisner, guitarist/vocalist Tommy Wisner, bassist Sean Sanders, multi-instrumentalist/ vocalist Jenny Sanders, and drummer Nick Ferrari.

Though garnering comparisons to Eyes Set to Kill, Evanescence, In This Moment, and Killswitch Engage, they’ve paved their own path to create something truly unique. Managing to interlace elements that would at first glance appear incompatible, they create a beautiful, yet heavy, mixture of sound with a diversity that resonates among lovers of different genres. This dynamic combination of guttural and clean vocals, sweeping violin, brutal guitar and bass, and technical drums will leave listeners curious to hear more.
